Hackathon Origins
MerchantPro was conceived during **The Stablecoins Commerce Stack Challenge**. Observing how SMEs struggle with traditional cross-border wires (high SWIFT fees, 3-5 day settlement cycles, and complex banking administration), we realized stablecoins (like USDC and EURC) were the ultimate solution.
However, the Web3 learning curve was too steep for traditional accounting and finance ops managers. Managing seed phrases, setting up browser extensions, and acquiring gas tokens for transaction executions created severe friction. We built MerchantPro to abstract this entire lifecycle, delivering the speed of blockchain via a simple Apple Pay-like biometrics experience.
Our Vision
Make blockchain rails invisible. Users do not need to understand ERC-4337, CCTP, or smart accounts; they simply scan their fingerprint to process SME payroll and invoice settlements.
